About Us
May of 2021 was the beginning of Son-Light Balloon Entertainment’s fast and grand adventure. After an introduction to professional balloon artists, Rylee’s interest in balloon art grew, a friendship formed, and a career blossomed. With just one lesson, it was apparent that Rylee was gifted in the talent of twisting balloon art. The next months were spent developing her skills through hours of practice, private lessons, and watching instructional videos. Shortly after, Rylee booked her first gig.This was her opportunity to showcase her creativity and talent to others by twisting at a public event. At the event’s end, the excitement was high and the desire to do more was embedded.With the help of her “mom-ager”, local birthday parties were being booked. With more parties came more confidence. Her designs became more refined, her menu of options longer, and her speed faster. Rylee soon graduated from being a junior twister to a professional!In less than two years, Rylee has done events for private parties, schools, care centers, company picnics, grand openings, sports jamborees, county fairs, and more! Clients of Son-Light Balloon Entertainment have been so satisfied, that many have already requested to book their annual events indefinitely for the upcoming years. Rylee has been interviewed and featured in two local papers (Press & News and The Drummer)
and was recently interviewed by FOX 9 news. Click the "News Feature" button above to view the video.Life isn’t all balloons for Rylee, she is a daughter with a semi-typical homelife. She lives with her mom, dad, and two sisters, Abigail and Jordyn. Rylee has been homeschooled since March of 2019 and turned 17 in July of 2023. She is also attending college as a PSEO student. While technically a senior in high school, Rylee has already completed enough college credits to earn her Associate of Arts degree in December 2023. What does the future hold? As a Christian that is strong in her faith, she will be watching for where God leads her. Right now, there is an interest in engineering school. Though balloons are a great talent, she does want to have a more traditional career while keeping balloons as a side gig and hobby.Rylee hopes that Son-Light Balloon Entertainment will always bring joy to others while shining the light of Jesus Christ to all. This is and will always be her main focus while twisting balloons.
